Hiking with Nicola at RCI

Hike this Saturday, June 5th! Keeping with our tradition, we will be hiking again this upcoming Saturday morning. We will be starting our hike at El Moro again, and we will be doing the reverse hike than the other week. This hike is just under 4 miles and will take about 1 ½ hours to 2 hours to complete. We will start with a flat walk in the canyon, followed by a gentle "S" like uphill, followed by more flat, and then a steeper downhill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We will be leaving the RCI parking lot at 6:30 am (on the dot) or meeting at the El Moro parking lot and leaving for our hike at 7am! Please email me at nstrother@ca.rr.com if you are interested. Trailhead: Three miles south of Corona Del Mar, on Pacific Coast Highway, go past the Crystal Cove shopping center, then look for a traffic light signed "School-State Park"-turn left (inland), and proceed past El Moro School to a stop sign-turn right, and proceed uphill, veering right, into the El Moro Canyon/Crystal Cove parking lot near the Park Headquarters building.
