Summer is winding down, but there are plenty of ways to enjoy the fun and sunshine while it lasts!
FRIDAY NIGHT MIXED DOUBLES - FRIDAY, AUGUST 30th 6:00-7:30pm
Say "Hello Again" to Friday Night Mixed Doubles as we celebrate these "Hot August Nights" with a throwback-themed event of classic rock and courtside fun - there will be prizes! Don't be a "Solitary Man," sign up soon while space is available and eat, drink and be merry 'til "September Morn" comes! There is no charge to play, but please provide a can of balls for your matches. WEEKEND FITNESS EQUIPMENT TUTORIAL - SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS 8:00am, 12:00pm, 4:00pm
Been to the Fitness Center lately? There are exciting changes taking place, and we want you to take full advantage of them! Learn the proper use of the NEW Hammer Strength and Life Fitness Equipment, now available in our Fitness Center. Each session will be approximately 30 minutes long and held on Saturdays and Sunday at 8:00am, 12:00pm and 4:00pm. SIGN UP AT THE FRONT DESK. Be sure to pick up one of our updated class schedules as we have some new and improved classes in the rotation!
OPEN COURTS - DAILY
Never tried Open Courts? It's a great opportunity to meet other members and get more playing time so you can improve your game! Open Courts are held daily: Monday through Friday at 4:30pm, "bonus" sessions at 6:00pm on Mondays & Wednesdays, and Saturdays and Sundays at 8:30am & 10:00am. To get your name on the list, simply call the front desk the day you would like to play at (949)496-4665. You will be matched up in a doubles game with three other members according to skill level. While we try to honor requests to play with other members, there are no guarantees. Please be respectful to the other members on the court and show up on time for your matches! Hope to see you on the courts soon.
END OF SUMMER PARTY - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th
Although summer may be coming to a close, the start of leagues, USTA and junior programs will be starting up again. Take a time-out and enjoy these last moments of summer by joining us for our END OF SUMMER PARTY on Saturday, September 7th at 4:00pm! We'll have music on Center Court and plenty of drinks and appetizers to go around. Use it as an opportunity to get together with your team before the season starts! Hope to see you there!
NEW SPECIALS AND ITEMS AT THE TOP SPIN BAR & GRILL
Our fantastic chef Luis and bartender Monique have been working on great new specials for you to enjoy while you're at the club. The grill is open Monday-Friday until at least 7:00pm, so take the night off and let us cook for you! Always look for the daily specials we offer. This month we are featuring a few new wines: rainstorm, a 2011 Oregon Pinot Gris; 10span, a 2012 Monterey County Pinot Gris; and Alderbrook, a 2009 Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley. All are offered for $4 per glass. We will also be serving up new happy hour deals from 3-6pm: Basket of Fries for $3; Onion rings or Hummus for $4; Bacon Cheese Fries, Nachos, or Wings for $5. Coming soon - Top Spin Bar & Grill will be offering a catering menu for parties up to 200. Keep us in mind for your next event!

One of our biggest and most electrifying tournaments returns next month - the Pro Futures! This is a great way to witness some world-class tennis up close and personal! The Pro Futures will be taking place at Laguna Niguel Racquet Club from September 20-29. Stay tuned for more information!
