I am a personal trainer with a background in tennis and a
passion for fitness. It has been a dream of mine to combine my two passions in
one realm, and here I’ve landed in the best of both worlds.
I grew up playing competitive tennis on a local, national
and international level. After my junior
career I went on to compete for Division 1 Loyola Marymount University followed
by a brief try on the WTA tour before injuries ended my career. These injuries helped me to realize the
benefits of a proper blend of on and off the court strength and functional training. Although I couldn’t compete any longer, I
continued to work with athletes on improving their fitness levels to improve
their game. It was during this time that I realized my true passion for
fitness. For the past five years I have worked with clients of all fitness
levels, from the hardcore athlete, to individuals fighting physical ailments
and injuries.
When it comes to training; I am a goal-focused trainer with
a firm belief in keeping workouts interesting, fun, challenging and constantly
changing. During my training sessions I
like to incorporate different training styles and tools such as interval
training, plyometrics, kickboxing, yoga, forms of high intensity interval
training (such as tabata), free weights, kettle bells, stability balls, BOSU,
and TRX bands. Overall, I truly love
what I do and my main priority is to keep my clients healthy, happy and fit.
